Workshop: Storytelling in Contemporary Photography

This workshop will focus on original approaches to storytelling in documentary and narrative photography. Strong emphasis will be placed on how image-makers’ today are making photo books as a mode of self-expression and dissemination of personal creative projects.

Through the programme participants will be equipped with the skills and confidence to find their own voice and unique concepts and themes. The workshop will act as a directed creative platform where clarity is brought to personal vision by developing the visual language that leads to the realisation of multiple creative outcomes such as building a portfolio, designing a photo book or mounting an exhibition.

Atlantus om show at Lisbon's Photobook Fair

Excited that Atlantus is making its way to 7ª Feira do Livro de Fotografia de Lisboa / Lisbon's Photobook. The transoceanic project has up until now been shown in diverse places such as: Jersey, Amsterdam, Sheffield, Paris, Sark, Las Vegas, Bristol, Trenton, London, Arles, Redbank (NJ), Punta Secca (Sicily), Tarragona and now Lisbon. Thanks to Fabrice Ziegler and Pedro Dos Reis for making it happen.

Indie Photobook Library with its more than 2,000 photobooks from around the world has been placed at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Atlantus selected for exhibition at SCAN Photobooks, Tarragona Spain

Atlantus our transoceanic newspaper about the connected histories of Jersey and New Jersey has been selected to be part of the exhibition SCAN PhotoBooks within the Scan Tarragona Photography Festival, opening from 19 October to 8 January 2017 at Tinglado 4 in Tarragona Port.
